Knowing Christ and making Him known
The blind man cannot answer every question, and he does not initially understand everything about Jesus. But he knows what has happened to him. ‘Though I was blind, now I see.' (John 9:25) Jesus reveals more to him and we read: 'Then the man said, ‘Lord, I believe,’ and he worshipped him.' (John 9:38) This is what true spiritual sight is: worshipping Jesus.
Sanctification is a life-long journey to become more Christlike.
This lovely hymn was written as a form of instruction of the Apostles Creed.
Whatever challenges or disappointments we might face, this hymn reminds us that God’s promises are true.
